Dr. Broccio: Tuesdays at 6 pm
I had two students come to my office hours this week in anticipation for the test that was on Thursday. We went through some problems they had from previous homeworks. A large focus was on work energy theory. Specifically, we spent time on the fact that in the equation W=Fd, the force and the distance are "parallel" to one another. So if a force is some angle off of the horizontal, and you're looking for the work done by it in the horizontal, you need to break the force up into components. I hope the test went well!
