Week of 2/4
This week, I had the opportunity to assist students in Physics 2, as well as students in Physics 1 who were preparing for their first exam. One of the big things I rediscovered while helping the Physics 1 students was that there are always multiple ways of reaching the same answer for a given problem. For example, constructing position vs. time and acceleration vs. time graphs can be accomplished in a variety of ways (ex. slope, kinematics equations, etc.). Oftentimes, it is important to let students run with their intuition and initial way of approaching a problem before suggesting one of your own.
