Week of 2/12

This week we spent a good amount of time talking about Newton's second law and the types of friction present in different scenarios. The most confusing topic of the week for students was differentiating between static and kinetic frictional forces. I had two students come to office hours with homework questions regarding this topic. I was able to help clear up their understanding by working through scenarios in which each frictional force needed to be considered. Hope to remain busy in office hours throughout the coming weeks.
