I had two students come to my office hours this week with questions about the homework. They mainly struggled with the concept of angular frequency, and I told them that to convert between frequency and angular frequency you must divide by 2pi in order the make the units correct (rad/sec). We also worked through some homework problems involving light intensity going through a polarizer and analyzer.
