Today I finished up my office hours for the week.
On Tuesday (3-5 PM), two students showed up at 3. They had a few conceptual question regarding the difference between momentum and how it relates to forces. After clearing up their misconceptions in a discussion, they completed a few problems without much difficulty. The two students left a little over 30 minutes into my office hours. Nobody else came for the remaining hour and a half.
On Wednesday (3-4 PM), nobody showed up to my office hours. It is pretty clear that most students come to earn extra credit for the class because every student I have seen has come exactly two times (which is what is required for extra credit).
